MIGUEL LEGASPI

Miguel Legaspi is a cum laude Film graduate of MINT College, trained under industry figures such as Kristine Kintana, Cholo Laurel, Lilit Reyes, Popo Diaz, and Jade Castro, and mentored by National Artist Ricky Lee through the Cinemalaya Institute’s 2021 Intensive Scriptwriting Workshop.

He creates emotionally driven, character-focused films, with works featured in festivals like Binisaya, Viddsee Juree Awards, Mindanao Film Festival, and Lift-Off Global Sessions, while also directing experimental music videos.

Early in his career, he wrote for Erotica Manila under Vivamax, earning Best Screenplay recognition from the Young Critics Circle Film Desk and FACINE. He later became a Creative Producer at Viva Communications Inc. and a writer for FPJ’s Ang Batang Quiapo (2023–2026).

Currently, he is under the mentorship of UxS’s in-house director Randolph Longjas, honing his craft as a writer and 2nd unit director in branded content.
