GALE OSORIO

Film producer Gale Osorio is an alumna of Berlinale Talents, Busan Asian Film School, and Torino Film Lab. She became known for her focus on Philippine regional cinema and supporting emerging talents.

Her short films have screened at major film festivals like Berlinale International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and MoMA New Directors/New Films. Two of her films It’s Raining Frogs Outside (2021) and The River That Never Ends (2022) are part of a curated program of Filipino films on the Criterion Channel. She’s also co-produces for foreign films like Swiss-Philippine documentary To The Moon And Back (2026) which world premiered at Visions Du Réel.

In 2024, Gale joined the entertainment department of Unitel Straight Shooters where she helps produce films like Kontrabida Academy (2025) and Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon (2026) for Netflix Philippines; and TV shows like Last One Laughing Season 2 for Prime Video Philippines, and Tropang Goat for iWantTFC.
