MICA OLIVEROS

She holds a degree in Communication Arts from De La Salle University-Manila and a Master of Arts in Cinema from the University of the Philippines Film Institute. At 19, she began her career in the film industry as a colorist before shifting into producing at 21.

From there, she became an alumna of the Rotterdam Producer’s Lab, NAFF Fantastic Film School, and Platform Busan, and went on to represent projects at prestigious development platforms including Produire Au Sud in France, Docs by the Sea in Indonesia, and Full Circle Lab Philippines, as well as major film markets such as Berlinale, Cannes, and Busan. Some of her works have been released theatrically and across OTT platforms. Among her most notable films are Body Count, which won Best Project in DocLab Forum under the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), and Yellowfin, which was selected for Cannes Immersive Competition. Both films were the first Philippine projects selected in their respective sections, while also standing among the pioneering Filipino VR works—marking significant milestones for Philippine cinema.

Beyond her film work, she is currently handling projects at UxS for leading brands such as Meralco, STI, Unilab, and San Miguel.
